have loved this track since it came out; it describes me and my wife...she needs my slow, and I mos def need her fast...great track and tune...keep hoping they'll make more
You think before you do,
And you calculate each move,
And you don't do anything unless you want to,
I take a faster pace,
And I burn out in the race,
And I take on everything cuz I think I have to,
That's why you're so good for me,
So if you're feeling blue,
Cuz I was pushing you to do,
Something you just weren't ready to,
I hope you know,
That my fast really needs your slow.
You don't just take a sip,
No, you tend to dive right in,
And you don't do anything a little bit,
I like to dip a toe in,
Keep my options open,
I've analyzed to death before I know it,
That's why you're so good for me,
You bring me closer to center,
You plus me equals nothing gets better,
As different as we may be,
I wouldn't want anybody else with me.
So if you're feeling blue,
Cuz I was keeping you from doing,
Something that you wanted to,
I hope you know.

Love the song "If Only You Were Mine". Means a lot to me and reminds me of days past. Rare to find song that does that is such a big way.
Overall still listening to the whole album but about 5 tracks stand out above all the rest. joshsa
Introspective, homespun folk tunes from John Donne that feel informed by the sugary bleakness of '80s and '90s indie pop. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 1, 2023
The lead singer of punk band Camp Cope ventures into romantic synth-pop territory, tempering slick arrangements with bare sentiment.

'Here' is four minutes and five seconds of intensive therapy. I can't even begin to explain the absolute catharsis the climax of the bridge was for me. Much love to you Jessy. Mack
